Went out looking for a river to hang out by, on a warm sunday.

Ended up near Powelltown, and with a bit of a bushbash, we found this....

 

And finally, we were just leaving after an hour of playing in the water with Jenson, and I looked down in the middle of the river at my feet and noticed this monster getting curious. Freshwater cray at least 150mm long, looking very healthy (and tasty..) Very cool to see one of these animals just cruising around.
