When you leave the camera...

Its always the way, you see the most incredible things and can never show a pic of it. I rolled out for a spin on the SS to loosen the legs in the sunshine, and ripping through the shrubery on the creek, I popped out onto the bike path just before a bridge. Low and behold, the boys in blue are there. I don't mean one of those other Enduro team riders, but the police. To be more precise, a single officer sitting on a dirt bike, goggles in hand, blue jumpsuit on and looking mean as hell.... He was completly blocking the bridge, hanging onto the handrail on his big bike. I've no idea what he was doing there, but it must have been pretty specific as you don't often see cops on dirt bikes?! Maybe he was booking speeding bikes, maybe helmet watch (as if??!) or maybe he was just having a smoke and rest. I've no idea, but I just wish I had the camera...!

In other random news, the water tank is coming along well, most of the fittings are completed, just one more tap, and the end caps have copped a better bead of silicon to seal them up, so hopefully come thursday, they will be all sorted and I can wash my bikes before they go back in the truck after racing. If, that is, it works.. I'll post some pics soon.

And the rats in the roof are going to cop a beating if I get my hands on them. Up the ladder tonight, we had a look for them, but they hear us coming, so looks like its ratsak for them!! Anyone got any (serious) tips on how to get rats out of your roof??

Mate, ratsack is the trick. Dont stress about them dieing up there cos ratsack makes them thirsty as all hell so they come out of the roof and die. Believe me when I say a shot gun in a roof space is louder than you expect!!!!
Country upbringing are fun.
Whats this tank, gonna have a gurney for it?
