Well its been on one hand a rude return to pedalling, after a series of weeks off. On the one hand, my lungs done't work like I remember they did, and the legs spin squares, slowly. But on the other hand, the new bike is making up for all that and more, and I just can't get enough of it!!

Last night I ventured over to the Fatties ride for the first time to catch up with everyone, and get shown around the yarra trails, somewhere that is fairly far from home for me :) So with what seemed to me like a reasonable amount of people, we barreled off into the dust and had a great time, before a new bike teething issue put paid to my fun for the night, relegating me to a slow pedal home to fix the problem With nary a spin of a spanner, she was right as rain for tonights dirt crit, pity a spanner couldn't fix me! Never mind, it was still loads of fun, bonking off any rocks I could find and playing in the sand with everyone. Bashing around in the hunt for a place in the Arthur Ashe, (cash) until a poorly placed mountain of rag (nose rag actually...) got caught in my derailleur meaning that I had to stop for some service work, and during that few seconds, the race went up the road, and I got real lonely for the rest of the race. Still, good fun, and we found out about the new Chase the Sun series with FGP- sounds interesting so stay tuned.

Brett trying to maintain that he was 'just riding along', but I think Jack in stitches gives the game away...

or maybe its the bars backwards....

More things to the broken bin- this time, Pontins seat post.

And some riders gloves that should be binned... Any guess who?
