Scuba Steves new drinking straw.

Now I tend to think that a blog should show what goes into a project/life/whatever you are doing, warts and all. That, and I seem to take a while to actually follow through and finish something, so I guess I get milage by plugging it along the way... ;)

So the snorkel is really just lacking some final filling to smooth down the welds, and then a few (quite a few) coats of paint to seal 'er up and earn me some long service from it.

I would also like to take the opportunity to apologize to the neighbors for some late nights on the grinder.. Sorry :)

Filling the 3.5" adapter ring to mate the snorkel to the airbox.

Post butchery to get the snorkel through the guard. Think hammers, drills, grinders and a whole lot of luck.

And there she is... Tough enough to practically swing off, so a little bit of success if I do say so myself.

In the spare time that I have, I went and did some mountain bike race too, its over here which means I should get over there before you, and write something!
