With all that rain yesterday, its softened the soil juuuuust nicely, so with boots and wet gear on, its back to the trails we go...

Yesterday was really good for the participants down at anglesea, however the bikes did cop a lot of abuse due to the weather and the ground down there being mostly sand and partly granite! New pads all round for most riders, it was a clay soup with a sand and puddle chaser, in only a handful of degrees. But they all soldiered on.

Having a quick drive on the way home, to test out the toughness of the new fridge slide, I came across a truck had had a huge mischief. Now firmly wedged on a tree, with the roof caved in, they had slid (whilst trying to avoid anything to do with the slope) from the top of this large incline then started rolling, and apparently both driver and pass were in intensive care in Geelong... Sobering. I snapped a quick pic, but being nearly 7am, I've gotta head, so you'll see it later on.

Good luck to all at the rock hop today....
