Part 3

Coffee come morning was a matter of rolling out of bed and throwing a pot on the fire from last night.
And with a view like this from bed, why would you want anything tougher?

Ahh, yet another river crossing. Leaving this area, we must have crossed the same creek 10 times in the space of an hour. And many were a fair bit deeper than this, but nothing silly. Rest assured we'd have pics of that!!

Dargo - The sort of place you could fire a cannon down the main street. One pub, one general store, and plenty of people with nuttin to do but stare at the out-of-towners! Funny tho, it had great play equipment, footy oval, cricket pitch, all sorts of great stuff, but just not really anyone under the age of 70 to use it. The man at the store reckoned that the next generation of people were in 4th grade, making that nearly the biggest generation gap I've ever heard of. Guess Dargo U19's are going to be left wanting for a few seasons..

And up the Dargo road to Hotham. Always wanted to do it, now I've seen all the burnt trees I need to. Still, its steep and fun, but not a whole lot quicker, so I'lll give it a miss in winter thanks.
