The fires of 3 years ago really did the High country no favours in the beautification stakes. I'm sure its kinda natural and all, but it just looks *dead*, funnily enough... It'll come back I'm sure, it already has started, but it will take a very long time.
We stopped in for a cleaning session at Karnalurra, Mt. Hotham, and had a drop of wine in front of the fire. Again, tough....
For all the silly Australians whinging about the snow, Hotham is installing a giant hot tub so we all have something to do when it doesn't snow.... Right next to Heavenly Valley chair, conviently enough! Splendid.
