Chasing Emu's around NSW became a regular thing, 'cept they'd be about the only animals that we'd regularly see. I guess the fires a few years back didn't treat them so well...
For those that have done the Expedition Kosi to the Sea, this was the take off point for the hiking, at Dead Horse Gap... The weather wasn't terribly conducive to getting out and having a wander. But thats the trailhead at Cascade Track.
Thredbo. Raining. No stopping, just a lap. Hmm, reminds me of a superficial view of Aspen. Guess that thats a superficial view as well.
Lake Jindabyne, with the town on the lake. This was pre-big ass storm that tore merry hell out of our tarp setup. And you've never seen tougher ground than at this place, we bent more pegs than I'd care to remember, but can't seem to forget in the pouring rain and howling wind. Pleasant place...
And just before we drove the 'ol boy in for drink! The ground was the f$#@kin hard that you've no worries about getting stuck, in fact its where the locals go cruising on a friday night!! In Civics. Real hardcore we are.
