Another mountain cattlemans hut, again in the middle of nowhere. Very remote and isolated, and so very quiet, but for the easter traffic that managed to get out here.
Climbing to Mt Pinnibar was a flat out experience with some blokes that we befriended at the last hut, and so full tilt we raced to the top of the mountain. Once again, we were in a bloody remote place, so I'm sure more due caution was needed than was applied, but we got there fast, and it was super fun too!
And they tell me there is a good view. Well I couldn't see a bloody thing, so I turned around and took photos of what I could see..!
The climb up was fast as I said, but the descent off the other side towards Tom Groggin and the border was just as hairly in low range 2nd down slippery rock steps and over water bars, sliding the truck down the greasy straights, loads of fun!!
