Out came the grinder again, and this time a bar was dropped out of the bullbar, and a new set of peepers installed. Thanks to Aidan's generous donation of Hella Comet 500's, and a few flat batteries playing with them, the Red Baron is now illuminated!! (more pics to come)
The old air horn had to take a dive as well, it was all a bit of a mystery, and the compressor was running off that, and it was all a bit weird. So out she came, the relay stolen for another task, and the horn dropped in the big round box called 'later'!
In the same instance, with Gezza's help/doing it all properly, we also ran a decent 20amp wire to the back of the 'Baron to power the kick ass reverse lights, a cig lighter socket and a fluro for the back section. All soldered up, proper connections and routing and hopefully no problems in the future! So now, bring on winter I say! I ain't scared of the dark!! (just flat batterys) Just the fuse block to go in, the accessories finalised and a RTC steering damper to go in at friday lunchtime (gulp!).
