Scuba Steve

After a reasonable weekend on the bike, and some creative other tasks undertaken, it was time for a night off the bike and on the welder! A snorkel is on the cards for the 'as yet unnamed' grey cruiser, and 3.5" seemed to be the go for a pipe snorkel.

It started out as 2 x metre lengths and 2 90deg bends, and got roughly whopped up into the right sizes.


Bits got tacked on, then fitted up to check our guesses were right, then stitched up.

A work in progress, but you get the idea. Next stop grinding all the welds smooth, before we have a solid crack at getting through the guard to the air box...!
